|Call for participants: Quality employment for sustainable development|

|Description of event:||The European Youth Forum is organising an event on 'Quality employment for sustainable development' on 28-30 May in Sofia, Bulgaria, in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
The event will discuss the following topics:
-What does ‘quality employment’ mean in the framework of sustainable economic development and more broadly the SDGs?
- What kind of quality jobs can ensure sustainable development, now and in the future?
- What is the role of young people in these economies/jobs/future of work?
It will consist of an introductory high level panel on quality jobs for sustainable development and 2 interactive workshops:
(1) on sustainable consumption/production and the green economy
(2) on entrepreneurship in a changing world.
The event will close with another high level panel on technology and its impact on sustainable development.
The discussions from the workshops will feed into the work of the expert group of the European Youth Forum on the future of work and the work of the Sustainable Development Network of YFJ.
The European Youth Forum will select 25 participants from member organisations to attend the workshops and the high level plenary.
|Selection criteria:||Participants should be nominated by their member organisation. They should have experience working on youth employment and/or sustainable development and/or entrepreneurship.
All participants must be present for the 2 days and contribute actively to discussion throughout the event, sharing experiences from their organisations and their work.
** Participants from the National Youth Forum of Bulgaria should apply to the call of NYF and not to this call**

|Additional infos:||The event will begin at 09:30 on Monday 29 May October and end at 13:00 on Tuesday 30 May. Participants must be available to attend the whole event. A detailed agenda will be sent to the participants beginning of May.
Costs of travel, accommodation and food will be fully covered.
