Call for participants - Education, Youth Work, Volunteering and Mobility Coordination Network

Description of event: The Education and Youth Work Coordination Network has been established in order to utilise the expertise from our membership on topics related to Education (especially non-formal and informal learning) and Youth Work. Furthermore, from 2022 the Coordination Network takes on the agenda topics related to Volunteering and Mobility as well. The mandate of the Coordination Network is being extended until December 2022, and may be subject to renewal, depending on policy priorities and developments.

Selection criteria: Selection criteria:
- Applicants should have experience in working with education (especially non-formal and informal learning), youth work, volunteering and mobility - a broader understanding also beyond their organisation’s practices is a strong asset.
- Applicants should be familiar with Youth Forum policies related to education, youth work, volunteering and mobility
- Applicants should be available to prepare contributions for or take part in meetings of Advisory Groups supporting the Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps programmes, as well as other platforms and bodies in the European policy field dealing with education, youth work, volunteering and mobility, bringing forward the perspective of youth organisations.
- The applicants should be motivated and committed to work in a team, and would be the contact point for YFJ Board, Secretariat and Members.

Additionally, applicants must be:
-Nominated by a Youth Forum Member Organisation (MO);
-Able to work in English;
-Be willing to travel to meetings once possible again.

You will gain:
- An increased access to European and international institutions and processes linked to education, youth work, volunteering and mobility;
- Opportunities to gain new contacts and grow your network;
- Contribute to speaking opportunities on education, youth work, volunteering and mobility at EU and Council of Europe level.
Additional infos: RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMBERSHIP
- To actively contribute to policy discussions in the field of education (especially non-formal and informal learning), youth work, volunteering and mobility.
- Potentially to prepare and take part in meetings of different institutional platforms dealing with education, youth work, volunteering and mobility and share the view of youth organisations.
- Monitor the main developments on the filed of education, youth work, volunteering and mobility.
- To contribute to the advocacy on the field of education, youth work, volunteering, mobility.
- Co-chair the Coordination Network and meetings upon interest with another MO representative.

The first meeting of the revised Coordination Network is expected to be in the beginning of February.
